Golden Spike Horse Trials 2026
Join your local Eventing community in supporting Wasatch Pony Club and Utah's only free-to-school Cross Country Course at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden!​
Two days; three phases: June 13th & 14th, 2026
​
This rated event offers divisions tadpole through training.
Friday, June 12th: Schooling rounds 11 am - 3 pm
Saturday, June 13th: Dressage starting at 8 am and show jumping at 1 pm
Sunday, June 14th: Cross country meeting starting at 8 am and riders go on at 9 am
TADPOLE INFORMATION:
Tadpole will follow the 2 day format like the rest of the show. Dressage will be USDF Intro Test (Walk trot), Showjumping will be x-rails up to 21" (But typically smaller), and cross country will also go up to 21” (Tall & wide). Tadpole is designed to be a slight step up from grasshopper. You don't need to be a USEA member to participate! Since it is “Unrecognized” you do not need to follow the USEF rules for tack and equipment.
