Thank you for showing with us!  Here’s some essential information to know about the upcoming show. This is a USEA recognized event offering divisions tadpole through training. Tadpole will be x-rails up to 21" and you don't need to be a USEA member to participate! To sign up, go to Xentry

Before the Show

  2. Make sure you have paid your balance due. Competitors who have not paid by end of day on Friday June 13th will be removed from the starter list. Pay the amount owed and sign forms missing signatures if needed.  Payments can occur through PayPal (USPC DBA Wasatch Pony Club) or check (written to Wasatch Pony Club). You will not be given your packet until you have paid your balance.

  3. Ride times are subject to change. Review STARTBOX to verify ride times.

  4. GroupMe App will be used for updates during the show. It is your responsibility to stay informed. The code is above.

  5. Verify you are studying the correct dressage tests (USEF test B for training/novice/beginner novice, USEF starter test for starter, USDF introductory B (Walk Trot) for tadpole). They are also posted in our blogs section if you want to be 1000% sure you’re studying the right test.

  6. Please consider volunteering! Go to Eventing Volunteers to sign up!

  1. Directions from I-15: Exit 346, turn east on Pioneer Rd, go 1 mi., turn north on Depot Drive. Go 0.5 mi., cross RR tracks, enter South Gate, immediately turn east at stop sign into Golden Spike Event Center. Stabling is SE of Rodeo Arena (follow signs for Barn A).

  2. Showers are available at the facility. Ask the show office for directions.

  3. Wasatch Pony Club is the proud steward of the Golden Spike Cross Country (XC) Course so that it can remain free and open to the public. We only restrict riding the course during our event. We welcome the equestrian community to use the XC course as much as possible, including Sunday after our event. Golden Spike Event Center rents out the track and XC course for private events which then close the course to public use. You should always check the GSEC website for racetrack closures which also close the XC course.

  4. We welcome your donations as Wasatch Pony Club alone maintains the course. Donate through PayPal to USPC DBA Wasatch Pony Club

  5. Golden Spike is allowing participants to stay the night in the living quarters of their trailers, but you must be in the back parking lot, east of Barn A. No tents!

  6. Golden Spike Event Center’s policy is “no outside food or drink.” Concessions will be available Saturday.

  7. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

  8. NO UNAUTHORIZED MOTORIZED VEHICLES are allowed on the racetrack; this includes ATVs and motorcycles, as well as cars and trucks. Golden Spike Event Center is insisting we enforce this. Handicap access is authorized and golf cart shuttles are available for transport, if needed.

  9. ALWAYS exit the track/move out of the way when work crews come to water and harrow. Do not make the driver wait for you.

  10. Info about who to call for facility questions/needs (stall concerns, power, etc) is on the board at Barn A east side in the middle.
