Getting Here

From I-15 take exit 346. Turn east and follow the signs to Weber County Fairgrounds. Parking is in the lot south of the track for everyone. RV spots are south of Barn A and B. Bathrooms are located in the building west of barns A and B on the north side. There will also be Porter potties in the center of the racetrack by the arena in the infield and right outside the barns. 

Please park in a way that does not interfere with workers and machines. Thank you!

Ride Times

Entries and ride times will be posted on Startbox. The show will run from high to low with modified/training level first to tadpole last.

Schooling Rounds

If you want to school in the dressage rings or Showjumping on Friday you must sign up and pay. Schooling starts at 11 AM and goes till 3 PM.

• Showjumping schooling will be $35 per round 

• Judged Dressage test will be $35 a round; or 

• Unjudged Dressage test will be $20 per round

Showjumping Schooling Rounds will start with modified/training at 11 AM to tadpole ending at 3 PM. $35 per round. Please check in with the steward before your round.

Dressage Schooling Rounds will be on a time or slot basis for both rings. It will be $35 per round with a judge or $20 without. For judged rounds please comment on what test you would like to do and sign up before Wednesday at 8 AM. If you sign up last minute you may need to print out and bring your own test! Please check in with the steward before your round.

The XC course is closed for schooling. Schooling XC after the show is complete or the day after is free.

Before the Show

1. Check Startbox to verify your entry is correct, including stall requests, RV spots, balances due, etc. If it is not correct, email our secretary ASAP. 

2. Please bring the paperwork for items listed as “Missing” from Startbox. We must receive payment of entry, completed signature pages and coggins/health papers. To expedite check in, please bring all printed items and payments with you. Trainer signature is mandatory. A trainer is defined as the person caring for the horses needs while on the show grounds. Most of the time this is the rider or owner.  

3. 3. Competitors who have not paid by the end of day on Friday June 12th will be removed from the starter list.

5. Ride times are subject to change. Review Startbox to verify ride times.

6. GroupMe App will be used for updates during the show. It is your responsibility to stay informed.

7. Verify you are studying the correct dressage tests (USEA test A for training/novice/beginner novice, and starter. USDF introductory B Walk Trot for tadpole). They are also posted in our blogs section of our website if you want to be 1000% sure you’re studying the right test. ​ 

At The Show 

1. Pick up your packets at the show office Friday between 10 am- 6 pm or Saturday starting at 7:00 am. The show office is located in Barn A. 

2. When you pick up your packet you will be asked to sign a USPC liability release. Minors will need a guardian's signature on the form. This is a requirement as this is a United States Pony Club fundraising event. We are including a copy of the release in this email so you can print, sign and bring with you to check-in to keep check-in. https://files.ponyclub.org/resources/136/NON_MEMBER_WAIVER 

3. Stalls will be pre-bedded with shavings. No straw bedding is allowed. Bags of shaving will be available for purchase. $15 a bag. Pay with exact cash, check, or PayPal. 

4. Warm Up Areas: Utilize the racetrack for warm up, lunging, etc. Jump so red flags are on your right. Call jumps before jumping and be aware of surroundings. 

5. Competitors entering arenas on horse once they have been closed will be disqualified. When on the track do not go through the dressage arenas. Even when taken partially down to water or drag, please go around the arenas or you will be disqualified! 

6. During the show, notify a show official immediately if you see a problem on the course.

7. If a rider comes off a horse or is hurt in any way, check in with the show office to file an incident report with Morgan or Krista.
