WPC COVID-19 Policy

We care about you and your safety, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and appreciate your participation in Wasatch Pony Club events. Our schooling shows - Chicken and Pumpkin - help prepare participants for the USEA recognized Golden Spike Horse Trials.

As such, we have adopted the USEA COVID-19 protocols for both the recognized event and the schooling shows. This includes NO spectators, all attendees wearing masks unless mounted, hand sanitizing and social distancing.

USEA is allowing 1 family member per rider, as well as 1 trainer and 1 groom to enter the show grounds. The Golden Spike Event Center has limited the amount of people in one place to 20, excluding volunteers and judges. If more than 20 people are present, we must ask folks to leave. The family member, trainer and groom of whomever is currently riding and on-deck will have priority, but at any point you may be asked to leave the show areas (dressage, show jumping, etc.) or barn areas.

The full COVID-19 Action Plan for WPC events can be viewed below.

These requirements are a change from normal, but it's essential that we follow them as non-compliance will result in the USEA and/or Weber County shutting down the event(s).

We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and tolerance as we enforce the new rules.
